We principally provide internet marketing support for businesses worldwide. The purpose of the work is simple – to help them get the best out of the web, which usually is expressed in greater profits. Webbactivemedia is a limited company that originally provided web development, and now I have diversified into providing internet marketing via jeremywebb.com and hosting via sefhost.com.

We generally employ people on a freelance basis. This allows for greater flexibility for us, and tends to suit the people we work with who get flexibility to develop their own projects and give time to other commitments. If you have never worked as a freelance before, essentially it is simple. We pay you directly and don’t deduct tax. You pay the tax man what he is due every year. Self employment and the freedom it brings is something I really value and encourage.

Broadly speaking we need assistance in maintaining and developing web sites, plus help promoting web sites online using a variety of techniques that require less of an understanding of the nuts and bolts of web development. So if you are not a web hot shot, we still may be able to offer you work if you are creative, enthusiastic and have a real interest in internet marketing. Therefore, don’t think you have to answer “genius” to every question below. Most important to me is your personality and attitude to work.
